Greasing The Wheels…

UFC Fight Night 81 was a close one. In the main event comeback kid Dominick Cruz squeaked out a 5 round victory against then current champ TJ Dillashaw. Because of story surrounding the fight, as well as the controversial decision, emotions were running high on both sides. Dominick Cruz took shots at colleague and fellow analyst Kenny Florian – TJ damn near had a heart attack when the decision was rendered, so it’s safe to say that the hatchets were all but buried. In a recent Instagram post, TJ Dillashaw expressed his opinion on the fight after much reflection and apparently some sleepless nights. To be a 1000% honest with you guys I agree with everything he said. The commentating was definitely bias as I remember thinking the same thing as I was watching the fight. Even as TJ Dillashaw was hitting Dominick Cruz Rogan was talking about Dominick’s footwork. I remember thinking, “Yeah that’s great, but TJ’s hitting him right now, what about that?”. It’s obvious who the UFC wanted to win this fight as I guess Dillashaw isn’t “marketable” enough and economical seems to be the direction UFC is going these days. Do me a favor.
