Chris from the Tren Twins showed off his impressive strength with a massive 700-pound deadlift.
The Tren Twins have built a massive following through their intense workouts, impressive strength, and entertaining personalities. Now, Chris is making headlines after pulling a staggering 700-pound deadlift without the assistance of lifting straps, showing that his strength extends well beyond the bench press.
In an Instagram video shared on October 4, Chris stepped up to a heavily loaded barbell and completed the 700-pound lift without wrist straps. The impressive display came alongside footage of the twins discussing their training and addressing criticism about their lifting mechanics.
Tren Twins’ Chris Shows Off 700-Pound Deadlift After Responding to Short Arms Criticism
Chris and his twin brother Mike have become two of the most recognizable fitness influencers on social media. Known for their high-energy training sessions, heavy lifting, and outspoken personalities, the brothers regularly push themselves through demanding workouts.
In a YouTube video featuring the brothers, Chris addressed comments suggesting that his shorter arms give him an unfair advantage when bench pressing.
“Hey, you only bench heavy ’cause your arms are short. What about my deadlift though? What about my deadlift?”
Chris even acknowledged his proportions while joking with the others about how difficult it can be to reach into his pockets.
“I do have short ass arms,” he admitted.
While shorter arms can reduce the range of motion during a bench press, they can present a disadvantage during the deadlift by requiring a lifter to bend farther to reach the bar.
During the workout, the brothers worked their way through heavy lifts, including a successful 675-pound deadlift.
“The lightest it ever felt,” Chris said after the lift, adding that the weight moved surprisingly quickly.
He also discussed how his body was responding to the heavy training.
“I lowkey feel fine. Like my ham, everything. Usually my hamstrings feel like they’re about to explode, but I feel perfect right now.”
Chris suggested that adrenaline might have played a role in how strong he felt during the session.
The 700-pound deadlift shown on Instagram represented another impressive strength milestone. Although the lift was completed without wrist straps, it was not performed under official powerlifting competition conditions.
Tren Twins Continue to Build Their Reputation for Heavy Lifting
The Tren Twins have become popular figures in the bodybuilding and fitness community by combining serious strength training with their trademark humor and aggressive approach to lifting.
Their workouts frequently feature heavy compound movements, including bench presses, squats, and deadlifts.
Chris’s latest 700-pound pull is another example of the raw strength that has helped the brothers attract millions of viewers across social media.
With no lifting straps assisting his grip, Chris demonstrated that his pulling power is just as impressive as the bench press numbers that initially sparked criticism about his arm length.
