Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are in full beast mode.
At some point in a fighters career they have to know when enough is enough. No matter how great and talented a fighter is, the reality of the situation is that they’re not immortal and they must come to grips with the fact that they’ll have to hang up the gloves and call it quits. For Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz we saw that day come and go as they walked off into the sunset and called it a career.
But now it seems that the powers that be have arranged for these two former foes to once again lock horns. Set to due battle under Golden Boy Promotions, Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are coming out of retirement to face off one last time (or at least I hope).
Should these two still be fighting? The answer is perhaps more complicated than a simple yes or no. Both men are in their forties, both have made a ton of money, and both have taken a ton of damage over their respective careers. That said, the fire still burns in them, that yearning for competition that lingers in a fighters heart before, during, and after their career has ended.
Whether you agree with the bout taking place or not, both Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz seem to be taking the fight seriously as both men prepare themselves physically and mentally to do battle.
