What a difference a day makes.

If anyone has been following the UFC lately you know that 5 days is the same as 5 years on the outside. With MMA getting bigger  and talks of a 4.2 billion sales tag on the UFC, it seems nothing is set in stone. In this instance however, it’s a good thing. UFC 202 UFC veterans Carlos Condit and Demian Maia have been added to the main card of UFC 202. The welterweight fighters will meet in Las Vegas as the c0-co-main event in a star studded line up. This announcement came as a surprise to most MMA fans as Carlos “The Natural Born Killer” Condit, seemed to be seriously contemplating retirement after his controversial loss to “and still” welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. This match is super interesting for any mma fan because of the skillset both fighters bring. Condit, a standup technician with a chin that can stand up to a Mack truck, and Demian Maia, the human snake with arguably the best jiu jitsu in the game, this will come down to a battle of will. I’ve got Condit on this one, but anything can happen. UFC Fight Night 91 The main event of UFC Fight Night 91 has also undergone some reconstructive surgery. The main event bout between Michael Chiesa and Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson had to be scrapped earlier this week due to a back injury suffered by Chiesa. The fight has been replaced with the bantamweight co-main event between Michael McDonald and John Lineker. Tony Ferguson will stay on the card but will fight undefeated UFC newcomer Landon Vannata (8-0) on the co-main event. Vannata has finished 7 of his opponent and fights out of Team Jackson-Wink in Albuquerque. UFC Fight Night 91 is set to take place on July 13 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
