Tattoo artist Dean Gunther decided to take on the challenge of creating a toned stomach for a customer.
Creating sculpted abs is no easy task. It takes hard work and dedication in and out of the gym. For one UK man, it took just two days to prepare for a long summer at the beach. A video on social media blew up showing an unnamed UK man get abs tattooed on his stomach.
Dean Gunther, the tattoo artist who created the masterpiece, spoke on the unusual tattoo.
“It’s been one of my most unusual requests,” Gunther told Caters News Agency. “I was excited to do this tattoo because I’ve seen someone do it before, but it didn’t look realistic, and it was basic black outlines.”

Dean Gunther owns Colour Realism Tattoos in the UK. A man walked in with a unique idea for a tattoo and Gunther ran with it. He began by mapping out the area with blue ink. This gave a blueprint for the rest of the piece to be done.
“He always wanted to have a six-pack but he’s not too keen on going to the gym or doing a diet. So, he decided that by getting a six-pack tattoo, he will always look summer ready while still being able to enjoy beer and good food.”
The entire process took two days for Gunther to complete. The video quickly went viral online and of course, there were mixed reviews. Some commenters marveled at the creativity and execution of the piece while others focused on the man who was getting the tattoo.
Gunther wanted to take this challenge and do something different. Over the course of two days, it turned into a creative sensation that gained plenty of attention across the world.
