Well I’m sure no one saw that coming…
Except maybe Andy Ruiz Jr. himself. In a shocking turn of events, Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was upset by heavy underdog Andy Ruiz Jr. in the 7th round of their title clash.
After being knocked down early in the 3rd round, Andy Ruiz Jr. showed a ton of heart and grit to come back from the brink of defeat to drop Anthony Joshua twice later in the round. From there, Andy Ruiz Jr. put on the pressure and never let Anthony Joshua off the hook until putting him down for good in the 7th round.
