Amid US and Iranian Conflict, Arash Rahbar Calls for Peace Between the Two Nations

The son of two nations, Arash Rahbar calls for peace between the US and Iran.

The first week of 2020 has gotten to a pretty dark place. With the assassination of top Iranian General Qassem Suleimanni by President Donald Trump, tensions between the Iran and the United States has never been higher.

The back and forth nature of the conflict is beginning to raise the worry of another devastating war in the Middle East. After wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it’s clear that many Americans want an end to conflicts around the globe and are much more concerned with domestic issues such as health care and the rebuilding of the infrastructure.

The devastating wars have led to the death of thousands of US soldiers and countless Middle Eastern citizens, a vast majority of them innocents caught in the conflict. Americans wish for there to be an end to the wars as Donald Trump had promised, but these new turn of events leaves the door open for a brewing conflict that could potentially involve multiple world powers.

On the bodybuilding side of the equation, IFBB Pro Arash Rahbar is calling for peace rather than continued escalation of the conflict. Taking to his Instagram, the American bodybuilder of Iranian descent feels a deep connection to proceedings and made his wishes of peace known to the world.

The stance of Arash Rahbar echoes that of a candidate for the democratic party nomination.

As the son of two nations, it’s only natural for Arash Rahbar to hold such a stance. While things appear grim and could still potentially go off the deep end, here’s hoping that Arash Rahbar gets his wish and another war won’t come to fruition.
