Bodybuilding is a game that’s all about timing. If yours is off then good luck becoming an Olympia champion. Sure, genetics, hard work, and nutrition are also very important to getting to the top, but timing can be the difference between making a competitor a star or just one of the pack. There have been times where bodybuilders have risen to the occasion at the perfect time like when Arnold Schwarzenegger was able to overcome Sergio Oliva back in 1970. The timing was perfect for Schwarzenegger to take over from Oliva and become one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time.

For Victor Martinez that time was in 2007. At the time Jay Cutler was the reigning Olympia champion and looked to be the next champion to build a long legacy after the dominant reign of Ronnie Coleman. Everyone had Cutler to win the 2007 show with ease. But Victor Martinez had other plans.

Jay Cutler happened to come in a bit off his game which that year while at the same time Victor Martinez never looked better. Martinez was looking dominant in 2007 having won the Arnold Classic earlier that year. He was impressive when he hit the stage yet, for whatever reason, he still wasn’t given the nod against Cutler. He had a strong showing during posing but was unable to get the victory.

Since then Victor Martinez has never been able to reach the pinnacle of the sport. But it appears that Martinez may have found the exact ingredient he needs once again improve his game. It appears that training at Oxygen Gym has helped to improve Martinez drastically. Check it out.

When you and your iron brother @ifbbjondelarosa train hard, eat hard and repeat the only thing left to do the same is matching colors.
