WATCH: Chris Bumstead Explains Why He’s Not Competing at The Arnold Classic

Chris Bumstead is skipping the Arnold Classic.

One of the standout athletes in the Classic Physique division, Chris Bumstead had one of the best showings at the 2017 Olympia. Despite that, he lost out to the equally talented Breon Ansley who brought an exceptional package to the Olympia stage himself.

While Chris Bumstead certainly has a ton of upside, he’s of the notion that he’s not quite ready to step back on stage yet. Many of his fans believe he could win the Arnold Classic, but it would mean having to go up against Breon Ansley once again. Instead, Chris Bumstead is choosing the path of least resistance. Check out the video to see exactly why he’s kipping the 2018 Arnold Classic in favor of competing later on this year.

Do you think Chris Bumstead is making the right call?
