WATCH: Warrant Out For Conor McGregor’s Arrest After Assaulting Fighter Bus

Chaos erupts in Brooklyn thanks to Conor McGregor.

Today, at the media day for UFC 223 this Saturday. Conor McGregor stormed the scene, and it looks like he committed assault and battery. The headlining bout for 223 is between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway for the Lightweight belt, which will be stripped from Conor for the winner. Khabib is considered by many to be the best Lightweight in the world. He is undefeated through 25 fights at Lightweight whereas McGregor is undefeated through one fight at Lightweight, which won him the belt. Holloway is Featherweight champion, and if he wins on Saturday, will hold two belts that have both been stripped from McGregor.

McGregor was expected to attend the event as he will likely fight the winner of the bout. However, his attendance was almost guaranteed when Khabib and his team had a hotel confrontation with Conor’s teammate Artem Lobov, who was fighting on the undercard. He has now been removed.

According to UFC President Dana White, Conor was let into the venue by members of his own MacLife media team, who were credentialed. Then he and 30 associates made their way down to the bus bay where fighters were being transported back to their hotels – what happened next was captured by multiple cameras. TMZ has perhaps the clearest footage yet:

UFC Lightweight Michael Chiesa has reportedly suffered multiple cuts as a result of broken glass. And Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas was very shaken up as she was almost hit with in the fray.

It’s unclear exactly how things will proceed, but Conor McGregor is now legally grounded and a warrant is our for his arrest. Many theories have been thrown around- that Conor was on drugs, that he deliberately wants to disqualify himself so he can’t lose. Nothing is certain, but the amount of legal action McGregor will face over this will likely be staggering.
