Today Marvel’s “Black Panther” hits theaters and your can bet avid comic book and movie fans will be flooding their local cinemas in anticipation. The film is about the fictional African nation known as Wakanda ruled by King T’Challa who is also the superhero Black Panther.

Chadwick Boseman who portrays Black Panther had to get into supreme condition in order to play this iconic superhero, however, the biggest body transformation that everyone seems to be talking about is by Michael B. Jordan of “Creed” fame.

Portraying the films villain Erik Killmonger, Michael B. Jordan had his work cut out for him. Not only has he been tasked with bringing an iconic villain to life, one that can rival Chadwick Boseman in performance and presence, but he also needed to look physically imposing for the role. As such, Jordan once again found himself in the gym training hard to transform his body.

No stranger to hard training, Michael B. Jordan headed into the gym, utilizing bodybuilding to gain size as well as training in both mixed martial arts and weapons in order to bring an authentic feel to the action sequences in the movie.
