Francielle Mattos will not attempt to regain her title on the biggest stage later this year.
Former three-time Wellness Olympia champion Francielle Mattos announced that she has dropped out of the 2025 Olympia.
Mattos shared a post on Thursday morning explaining that she will not pursue her fourth title as she turns focus toward other areas.
“I needed to turn my eyes on what sustains everything I’ve built: my health, my family, and also the new projects that are emerging that require a lot from me.”
The Wellness division gained extreme popularity over the years. This led to it being introduced into the IFBB Pro League in 2020 and eventually to the Olympia for the first time in 2021. Since the beginning, Mattos has been one of the major figures in the division and has done a lot for it to grow over the years.
Competitors in the Wellness division are judged on their overall shape, symmetry, and muscle tone, with a particular emphasis on glutes, thighs, and hamstrings. This unique focus has attracted many athletes who naturally possess more developed lower bodies, offering a platform where they can shine.

Francielle Mattos Drops Out of 2025 Olympia
Mattos began her career with a long unbeaten streak due to the overall package that she brought to the stage. This includes her inaugural victory in the Wellness division during the 2021 Olympia. She would go onto successfully defend her title over the next two years.
Mattos shared a heartfelt message about her absence from the Olympia and her personal journey to the top.
“This year Mr. Olympia will hold its 5th edition of the Wellness category… and for the first time, i won’t be there.
It’s been almost 10 years dedicated to sports, a journey marked by struggles, overcoming and achievements that changed my life forever. Along the way, I lived the dream of climbing the biggest bodybuilding stage in the world and had the honor of becoming the triple-champion of Mr. Olympia Wellness—a title that is not just mine but everyone who believed in me.”
Francielle Mattos began her fitness journey in the IFBB Elite Pro in 2018. She eventually made the jump to the IFBB Pro League the next year. She earned big-time victories at the Arnold Amateur South American in 2019 before going onto win the 2020 Arnold Amateur in Columbus.
In 2024, Isabelle Nunes defeated Mattos to win her first Olympia Wellness title. Mattos finished as the runner-up. Her future in the division in unknown but for 2025, Mattos will not attempt to regain her title.
