Kristyn Lia last competed at the 2023 Texas Pro in August.

Women’s Physique bodybuilder Kristyn Lia has passed away at 39 years old, according to multiple reports. The cause of her death has not been revealed at this time.

AJ Kelly shared the news on Instagram, mourning the loss of Lia after a successful career as an IFBB pro.

“Our condolences go out to her friends and family . She just competed this summer taking a 3 place at Atlanta pro . She just moved to USA from Australia to get her bodybuilding career started.”

Kristyn Lia moved from Australia to the United States with great aspirations of making her mark in the IFBB. She accomplished this goal quickly as she became a standout in the Women’s Physique division. Lia earned her Pro Card in 2021 after impressing during the NPC Worldwide Australia.

Lia moved onto compete in some of the biggest shows in the world. This includes the New York Pro and Pittsburgh Pro. Lia last took the stage in August during the 2023 Texas Pro. This was her fourth appearance of the calendar year, highlighted by a third-place finish during the Atlanta Pro.

Aside from her work on stage, Kristyn Lia worked with others to help them improve in the gym. She was an insightful trainer who provided others with advice in the gym and within their diet.
