WWE and AEW Veteran Wrestler Jon Huber Passes Away at Age 41

It’s a sad day in the wrestling world as Jon Huber passes away at the young age of 41.

A veteran wrestler of WWE and All Elite Wrestling fame, Huber would pass away due to a lung issue unrelated to the virus now ravaging the globe.

Amanda Huber, the wife of Jon Huber, confirmed the wrestler’s passing. In an Instagram post, Amanda had this to say about her late husband’s passing:

Strength Wars Movie

“My best friend died today. The world saw him as the amazing Brodie Lee, but he was my best friend, my husband, and the greatest father you would ever meet. No words can express the love I feel or how broken I am right now.

He passed surrounded by loved ones after a hard-fought battle with a non-Covid related lung issue. The Mayo Clinic is literally the best team of doctors and nurses in the world who surrounded me with constant love.”

After gaining popularity on the regional wrestling circuit early in his career billed as “Brodie Lee”, Huber would go on to establish himself as a member of the popular Wyatt Family portraying the character “Luke Harper.” His turn as Luke Harper would eventually land him a deal with the WWE where he had great success.

The later part of his career would see him return to the Brodie Lee character in AEW. He just recently won the TNT Championship this past summer and looked poised to do big things in the popular organization. Unfortunately his life was cut short this past Christmas.

The Generation Iron team sends condolences to the friends and family of Jon Huber.
