Ric Flair to undergo surgery for undisclosed medical issue.
A legend of professional wrestling Ric Flair Has suffered a health scare according to his wife. According to TMZ Sports, Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital on Thursday for an undisclosed health issue. The WWE legend is set to undergo surgery and according to his wife, Wendy Barlow, will make a full recovery.
TMZ Sports states that Ric Flair was in Atlanta at the time of the medical emergency. While details are still scarce, reports say that the medical issue is very serious.
This isn’t the first time that Ric Flair faced health issues. In 2017 Ric Flair suffered from heart and liver issues related to alcohol abuse.
While things appear grave, Fightful has reported that the situation may not be as serious as has been claimed. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful:
“Conrad Thompson says the Ric Flair situation ‘is not as grave or serious’ as TMZ makes it out, and says that this was a planned procedure that Ric Flair wanted to have before Las Vegas,” said Sapp. “He stated that Flair and the family knew the procedure was coming and he could have had it before or after Vegas, and wanted to feel good for Starrcast.”
