Who will become a pro this weekend?
UPDATE (11/22):
The NPC Nationals are well underway as the second day kicks into gear. While no results will be available until later tonight – that doesn’t mean the excitement hasn’t been constantly ratcheting up as the day progresses. For example, not only are all of the bodybuilding super stars that we’ve come to expect making appearances at this event – celebrities outside of the bodybuilding world are also stopping by. Who exactly? The Rock of course:
There’s our man Branch Warren hanging out with the action movie beast Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the Nationals. The Rock has made some appearances at a few NPC events this past year – normally to support his personal trainer and also the sport of bodybuilding itself. While never a professional bodybuilder – The Rock has always set an amazing example of health, bodybuilding, and fitness through his celebrity status. He has always supported the sport of bodybuilding – and we couldn’t be any more excited to see him at the Nationals.

The NPC Nationals are this weekend and the pressure is on to see which talented amateur will emerge victorious. To put it simply, the Nationals are the Olympia of the amateur scene. One of the biggest events where all of the NPC competitors have a chance go grab a pro card and start their journey towards becoming a top tier champion. A true preview of some of the talent that are set to make waves on the pro bodybuilding scene down the road.
The Nationals are being held in Miami, Florida and tons of notable pros will pack into the event to celebrate this fantastic competition. We already know superstars like four time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath and The Quadrasaurus himself Branch Warren will be in attendance – but that’s only a taste of who will be hanging out this weekend.
Men’s bodybuilding, Women’s physique and Bikini prejudging all took place earlier today. With callouts already being thrown left and right – the tension is already rising. Check out this quick video of the heavyweight callouts that happened just a few minutes ago.

Tomorrow, Women’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Figure will all compete for their prejudging with the finals taking place tomorrow evening at 5 PM.
These amateurs are putting everything on the line to get their pro cards and are sure to be in top form. The future champions of bodybuilding will all be on display this weekend so be sure to stay tuned to the Generation Iron Fitness Network for all results and news.
