2023 Arnold Strongman Classic Roster & Events Announced

The list of competitors and events for the 2023 Arnold Strongman Classic have been announced!

The 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic is set to take place on March 3-4 in Columbus, OH. The official list of events and competitors for the Strongman and Strongwoman events has been announced.

On Wednesday, the official Instagram account of Arnold Sports Festival shared the lineups on its page. Some of the best strongmen and strongwomen will gather to see who will leave with the overall prize.

2023 Arnold Strongman Classic Roster & Events

When looking at the roster, there are two glaring absences. Martins Licis was crowned champion while Oleksii Novikov finished as the runner-up. Neither were listed on the roster for the 2023 show. Instead, Luke Stoltman and Bobby Thompson, who finished tied for third, will look to make an impact.

The athletes will compete in five events — Wheel of pain, Austrian oak log press, Elephant bar deadlift, Unspunnen stone throw, Timber frame carry.

The overall use has not been announced yet for the men’s competition. In 2022, Licis took home $80,000 for finishing in first place. The total prize purse was $182,000.

2022 Arnold Strongwoman Classic Roster

The women’s event will feature the likes of Tamara Walcott, who has spent time breaking different records over the years. Olga Liashchuk will return to the competition after winning back-to-back titles in 2019 and 2020.

The total prize purse for the women’s competition will increase to $75,000. This is a raise from the 2022 competition.
