Roman Fritz, Ivanna Escandar victorious during the 2023 Bigman Spain Pro Show!
The 2023 Bigman Spain Pro Show took place on July 29-30, 2023 in Benidorm, Spain. The Men’s Open and Bikini divisions were on display with winners punching their tickets to the 2023 Olympia. In the end, it was Roman Fritz winning the Men’s Open Bodybuilding division and Ivanna Escandar who proved superior in the Bikini pro division.
The Olympia qualification system has changed this year. If an athlete did not finish in the top three in the previous year, or top five in Men’s Open, they will have to win a show to qualify. The points qualification system is no more. Also, former winners of an Olympia title have lifetime eligibility.
Roman Fritz will be making his Olympia debut after winning on Sunday. He competed twice prior to this weekend in Men’s Open, which were both top-five finishes. Escandar will return to the biggest show of the year for the second-consecutive campaign. She will look to build off a 13th place finished in 2022.
