Kassandra Gillis wins the 2025 Sampson Showdown Pro!
The 2025 Sampson Showdown Pro took place on Saturday with the Wellness division taking centerstage as the headliner. In the end, it was Kassandra Gillis who came away victorious and once again qualified for the 2025 Olympia.
Gillis has been a regular on the Olympia stage since Wellness joined the show. She has been a Top 10 finisher each year, highlighted by a fourth place in 2022. Gillis just finished fourth during the 2025 Arnold Classic and now has a victory in Detroit under her belt.
During the 2024 Olympia, Isabelle Nunes took over as champion after defeating three-time champ Francielle Mattos. Nunes has been the runner-up twice before taking the next step. Mattos finished as the runner-up during the show while Eduarda Bezerra had a breakout season with four pro victories this year. She made her Olympia debut on Friday and finished in third place.
Gillis was recently eighth on the Olympia stage but has made vast improvements needed to compete with the best in the world.
