Derek Lunsford wins the 2025 Arnold Classic!
The 2025 Arnold Classic consisted of a total of seven divisions competing for the ultimate prizes this weekend. The Men’s Open division led the way with a winner being crowned on Saturday night. The two-night event began on Friday with three divisions crowning new champions.
The Arnold Classic Men’s Open lineup is made up of 12 competitions who applied for invitations and were accepted to compete in the show. The winner will not only qualify for the 2025 Olympia contest, if they have not already, but will also claim the Arnold Classic trophy, and take home a $500,000 prize.
The Men’s Open lineup is loaded once again for the 2025 competition. It begins with former Arnold champion and reigning Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda. He entered the weekend looking to regain his title in Columbus after finishing behind Hadi Choopan last year. Dauda will battle the likes of Derek Lunsford and Andrew Jacked, who have a chance to win the overall prize. Along with Dauda, Brandon Curry and William Bonac take the stage as former champions in Columbus.

2025 Arnold Classic Men’s Open Results
It was a battle between two Olympia champions and it was worth the wait. Samson Dauda entered as the reigning Olympia champ and former Arnold winner but Derek Lunsford was prepared to take over the top spot in Columbus.

2025 Arnold Classic Classic Physique Results
Mike Sommerfeld finished second to Chris Bumstead during the Olympia and this put his name fully on the radar in the Classic Physique division. When Bumstead announced his retirement, Sommerfeld was one competitor that thought he could step into the top spot. From prejudging on Friday, Sommerfeld was near the top with Franklin and Matthew Greggo.

2025 Arnold Classic Men’s Physique Results
Ali Bilal finished as the runner-up during the 2024 Olympia and was able to win the Arnold. The top three broke out during prejudging and it made for an exciting battle during the finals on Saturday night. Diogo Montenegro fell from first to third while Erin Banks finished as the runner-up in his return to the Arnold.

Reigning three-time champion Ariel Khadr did not compete in Columbus as she continues to recover from an injury. Khadr also pulled her name out of the Olympia in October and missed this show as well as she focuses on making a full recovery. Baker finished as the runner-up last year and entered the weekend with high hopes of reaching the top.

Vania Auguste and Aimee Delgado stood out right away from prejudging and this was expected to be the battle to watch during the finals. This is exactly what happened but Auguste was able to win the prize.

Reigning Olympia champion Isabella Nunes took the stage as the favorite but Eduarda Bezerra posed a big threat from the early moments. When it was all said and done, Bezerra did enough to take down Nunes and win the 2025 Arnold Classic Wellness title.

It was a loaded group in Pro Wheelchair this year. After his Olympia victory, Kelley fell to fifth this year with Kevin Secundino and Gabriele Andriulli also finishing in the top five. The final battle came between reigning champion Rajesh John and James Berger, and it was John who took home the title.
