Mike Sommerfeld wins Classic Physique at the 2025 Arnold Classic!
Mike Sommerfeld came into the 2025 Arnold Classic after a runner-up finish during the 2024 Olympia in October. He wanted to prove that he is the new competitor to beat in the Classic Physique division and did just that. Sommerfeld edged out Logan Franklin and took home the Arnold Classic Physique title on Friday night.

Sommerfeld finished second to Chris Bumstead during the Olympia and this put his name fully on the radar in the Classic Physique division. When Bumstead announced his retirement, Sommerfeld was one competitor that thought he could step into the top spot. From prejudging on Friday, Sommerfeld was near the top with Franklin and Matthew Greggo.
The Classic Physique division continues to add talent each year and the young stars showed that they will be the future. Both Franklin and Greggo fought hard for the title and finished in the top three.
