Athletes to Watch
Regan Grimes
Grimes is officially back in Men’s Open. He made his return during the New York Pro, finishing fourth. Grimes worked on adding size during his hiatus in attempts to return to the Olympia this year. He was victorious during the California State Pro and this punched his ticket to the biggest show of the year. He will now look to make it two wins in a row.
Sasan Heirati
Heirati has been busy during the 2025 season. He has multiple top-three finishes this season put has yet to take the next step. Heirati recently finished as the runner-up to Grimes at the California State Pro. He will get another chance to compete against Grimes and earn his first professional victory.
Eric Janicki
Janicki made a name for himself at the NPC level. There has been plenty of hype surrounding Janicki and he will look to deliver during his pro debut in Toronto. Janicki earned his Pro Card last week and will now compete as a pro for the first time. If he comes in at his very best, Janicki can earn a top-three spot.
