Full results and complete breakdown of the 2026 Detroit Pro

The 2026 bodybuilding season continues to take shape following the results of the 2026 Detroit Pro, which took place on March 14 in Detroit. The event served as an official qualifier for the 2026 Mr. Olympia, meaning winners in each division secured an automatic spot at the most prestigious competition in professional bodybuilding.

The Detroit Pro has grown into a respected early season contest that attracts competitors from around the world. With Olympia qualification on the line, athletes arrived ready to present their best physiques and build momentum early in the competitive year.

This year’s show featured two professional divisions: Men’s Open Bodybuilding and Classic Physique. By the end of the night, two standout athletes emerged as champions, each punching their ticket to the Olympia stage.

Mohamed Foda Wins Men’s Open Bodybuilding

The Men’s Open title went to Mohamed Foda, who delivered a commanding performance throughout the contest. Foda impressed judges during prejudging and finals with a combination of muscle density, conditioning, and balanced proportions.

The Men’s Open division is often the most anticipated category at any bodybuilding event. Competitors in this division focus on maximizing muscle size while maintaining conditioning and structure. During the Detroit Pro, Foda consistently stood out in comparisons, particularly when the judges called athletes to the center of the stage.

Judging in professional bodybuilding typically occurs in two phases. Prejudging allows judges to evaluate physiques through mandatory poses and comparison rounds. The finals provide a second opportunity for competitors to showcase their conditioning under stage lights while performing posing routines.

After the final comparisons were complete, the judging panel awarded Foda the victory. The win officially qualifies him for the 2026 Mr. Olympia, which is widely considered the ultimate stage in professional bodybuilding.

Earlier this season, Foda competed at the 2026 Arnold Classic where he finished in seventh place. While that result placed him outside the top tier of that event, his Detroit Pro performance shows clear progress and momentum as the year moves forward.

With Olympia qualification secured early in the season, Foda now has the opportunity to refine his physique and continue improving before the sport’s biggest competition later this year.

Wesley Vissers Continues Dominant Season in Classic Physique

In the Classic Physique division, the title went to Wesley Vissers, who continues to establish himself as one of the top athletes in the category.

Classic Physique focuses on symmetry, proportion, and aesthetic presentation inspired by bodybuilding’s golden era. Competitors aim to display a balanced and artistic physique while still maintaining significant muscularity.

Vissers delivered exactly that on the Detroit stage. His presentation, posing control, and overall shape helped him stand out during the comparison rounds. Judges rewarded his balanced look and stage presence with a first place finish.

This victory adds to an already impressive start to the 2026 season for Vissers. Earlier in the year, he captured the Classic Physique title at the 2026 Arnold Classic, one of the sport’s most prestigious competitions. By winning both events, Vissers has quickly built strong momentum heading toward Olympia.

Finishing in second place was Ethan Gohari. Gohari has also demonstrated consistency this season. At the Arnold Classic earlier in the year, he placed sixth, and his runner up finish in Detroit shows continued progress against elite competition.

The Classic Physique lineup also featured strong performances from several rising athletes who are steadily gaining recognition on the IFBB Pro League circuit.
