Shaun Clarida

The man called “The Giant Killer” with an impressive physique, Shaun Clarida hopes to make good on his third place win in his 2019 Olympia appearance with an even more impressive showing this year. Clarida has all the tools necessary and is even putting on more size ahead of this year’s show. On top of his newly added size, conditioning will also be a major necessity for not only him, but every competitor in the field.

Coming in fourth at the 2019 Olympia, John Jewett looked very impressive. With so many eyes on veteran competitors like Ahmad Ashkanani and Kamal Elgargni, John Jewett burst into the top five and even out performed Ashkanani. With a well balanced physique and classic silhouette, Jewett could prove to be a top three contender in 2020.

Coming in second place at the 2019 Olympia, Derek Lunsford certainly has something to prove at this show. With incredible back development and a solid overall physique, Lunsford has all the tools to win this show. The key for success could come down to whether he can out condition the other athletes on stage.

George Peterson III

Another 212 competitor with an incredible back, George Peterson III has looked impressive since leaving the Classic Physique division behind. While he consistently broke the top three at the Olympia in the Classic Physique division, Peterson looks to take over the 212 category. From his showing at the Tampa Pro, Peterson proved that he’s a force to be reckoned with in the division.

Ahmad Ashkanani

Ahmad Ashkanani came in under conditioned at the 2019 Olympia. While he came in favored to win after taking second in 2018, Ashkanani would find himself in fifth place the following year. Now it appears from the looks of his recent progress that he’s taken care of his lacking areas and could be a major threat to champion Kamal Elgargni.

Kamal Elgargni

Speaking of the champion, Kamal Elgargni was able to secure victory at the 2019 due to one major factor: conditioning. Able to really get his physique to pop on stage led to the big win. But this year, with so many other well built and conditioned competitors, Elgargni certainly has his work cut out for him.

Who do you think will be the 212 Olympia champion?
