Insulin resistance can kill your gains.

When it comes to building a tremendous physique there are some fundamental ingredients that must be infused into your lifestyle. Training is of course of paramount importance. You can’t simply get big if you’re not stimulating your muscle. But nutrition may be even more important than how much weight is on the bar. Nutrition itself can be broken down into a science. You could know what to eat for a bodybuilding diet, but that’s not the whole story.

If you want to get the most out of your bodybuilding diet then you’ll have to ensure that your insulin sensitivity is being boosted. When insulin sensitivity is low it means less nutrients are are being pushed to the muscles. When insulin sensitivity levels are boosted it means greater muscle growth as well as burning more body fat. In order to do that you’re going to want to have the right ingredients as well as understand when and how to eat your meals.

Pour On The Vinegar

By using two tablespoons of vinegar before a meal, as a salad dressing, or even before bed, you can boost your insulin sensitivity tremendously. By consuming vinegar with your meals you ensure greater gastric emptying which means slowing digestion and lowering your blood sugar levels.

Embrace Cinnamon

This well known ingredient can do some great things like kill bad breath and repel insects. It can also boost your insulin sensitivity tremendously. Consuming two to three teaspoons of cinnamon a day can lower blood glucose levels tremendously which will means more lean gains and greater fat loss. Try placing some on your oatmeal for some awesome results.

Eat Protein First

By practicing to eat your protein before consuming starchy carbs you can dramatically drop post meal blood sugar levels. Increased blood sugar levels means lower insulin sensitivity. Consuming protein first means both increasing your body’s thermogenic effect which means burning more body fat as well as slowing down your digestion of carbs which will lower your blood sugar levels to make way for boosted insulin sensitivity which in turn means greater muscle growth.
