After Leaving Kuwait and GAT Behind, Where is Big Ramy Now?

Big Ramy is making some big moves.

Certainly one of the most recognizable figures in bodybuilding today, Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay has garnered a huge following in the industry. His shear size and incredible build has put many on notice as he usually cuts the largest figure on the bodybuilding stage.

The ability of Big Ramy to take full attention with his insane size is both a blessing and a bit of curse. While he manages to get the attention of the judges, it also means that he is being scrutinized twice as much. This very fact is what possible led to Big Ramy taking sixth place at the 2018 Olympia. Big Ramy was of course disappointed in the results and has since fell into seclusion.

Now, as 2019 is rolling forward, Big Ramy has made some pretty drastic changes. For one, Big Ramy is no longer training in Kuwait, but has moved to Dubai. That isn’t the only change for the Egyptian bodybuilder as he has also chosen to leave behind his supplement sponsor GAT.

These are some pretty big moves for the talented bodybuilder who many believed would be the man to topple Phil Heath. Now as his new journey continues, Big Ramy finds himself training in a new country, having a new coach in Neil “Yoda” Hill, and signing with a new supplement company.

Recent videos released online show Big Ramy signing with the supplement company Dragon Pharma. This is perhaps the company’s biggest signing to date and with a bodybuilder as popular as any in the industry today.

Big Ramy has also released a full chest day workout video with Dragon Pharma as well, further cementing his involvement with the growing brand.

Do you think all these major changes will give Big Ramy the edge in 2019?
