Training is the bread and butter of the bodybuilder. At least it should be. If you hope to get the best results and build an impressive physique then you’re going to have to learn the ins and outs of training. But there’s a starting point for everything and no matter how diligent you are or how driven you may be, when you first start training you’re likely going to be faced with one question: just what the hell should I do?

It’s nothing to be embarrassed about. If you’re new to something you’re highly unlikely to be able to perform at the highest level possible. No one knows how to ride a bike as soon as they hop on. If you do, more power to you, but for every other normal human help is going to be required. Training advice from those who are seasoned lifters can be both essential and dangerous at the same time. Essential because it puts you on the right track. Dangerous because of the threat of being indoctrinated with bro-science.

When you choose a lifting mentor you better be sure they know their stuff or you could end up wasting a big chunk of your time rather than making some great gains. Being sure to start your lifting endeavors off right can be a key to making some consistent and impressive gains from the start of your bodybuilding journey to the point in which you’ve obtained your ideal physique.

When it comes to training the right way, sometimes the pros are far from the best choice. They live a lifestyle that only other high level professionals are familiar with. But if there is one pro bodybuilder to follow, then it’s definitely Ben Pakulski. The level in which he breaks down training and nutrition can be beneficial to bodybuilders of any level.
