If the fight wasn’t truly a real possibility for Mayweather then it’d be unlikely that he’d consume a great deal of his time trashing McGregor in multiple social media posts. The more posts Floyd Mayweather makes about knocking out Conor McGregor inside the octagon the more you have to question the sincerity of these boasts. Is Floyd Mayweather truly considering a match with McGregor under mixed martial arts rules?

For now, all of this is speculation. But if it is true and Floyd Mayweather does decide to fight in an MMA match, chances are Conor McGregor wipes the floor with him.
