ANOTHER SQUAT WORLD RECORD DESTROYED

Generation Iron World Record Squat

Truly heavy squats.

Records are always there to be broken, an open challenge to anyone brave enough to accept. Breaking a world record is more than just getting to the stage and setting the number. It’s about the journey to get there, the sacrifice put into training, the determination to prove to yourself and the world that you are deserving of the top spot.

No one gets to the top by accident. Timing is important in setting the stage of events, but it’s not the only element. Preparation is key to being able to accomplishing lofty goals. When timing meets preparation the combination is a match made in heaven. Breaking a record is truly the culmination of all your blood, sweat, and tears that you’ve shed in the gym in hopes of achieving greatness.

To Eric Lilliebridge, setting records is something that he’s grown accustomed to. A power lifter by trade and a trainer with extensive experience, Lilliebridge continues to set records because of his drive and hunger for success. Just as Eddie Hall set the record for deadlifting last weekend, Lilliebridge was breaking records for the squat. Check out the video below of the talented powerlifter putting up some serious weight.
