Arnold Classic 2017

Arnold Classic 2017: How Does Cedric McMillan Compare To Dallas McCarver

Who will be King?

The Arnold Classic is within arms reach now and all the prep is over. There’s no more time for training, no more time for dieting, now all that’s left is bringing everything to the stage. The bodybuilders are ready and the fans are ready for a big showdown in the open weight class. If you ask any of the experts and avid fans looking to tune in, they’d tell you that the main event of the show is the head to head showdown between Cedric McMillan and Dallas McCarver. Who will secure victory?

Dallas McCarver has been training like a mad man for the past several months all with the intentions of putting on a massive amount of muscle. Since adapting Ronnie Coleman’s training regimen it’s easy to see why McCarver did so in the first place. He has gained a ton of muscle since the Olympia and is looking to throw around his weight at the Arnold Classic. His massive frame should be his biggest asset facing off with a bodybuilder of McMillan’s caliber, but it won’t be as easy as showing up and looking the part. McCarver better have been improving his posing as well or he may be in for a long weekend.

As for Cedric McMillan, the man was inches away from winning the Arnold Classic last year. Now that he’s once again made it to the big show, we have to expect that he’s made some changes since the Olympia. One of those major changes is no doubt the twenty-five pounds of added muscle. While McMillan was no means a small bodybuilder, the extra size should give him an added edge headed into the Arnold Classic. His posing routines have always been graceful, but it appears that when he’s on stage with other bodybuilders his intensity dips. With a vow that he’ll been aiming to put more energy into being explosive and eye catching on stage against the competition, look to see a different Cedric McMillan this year when he shares the stage with his biggest threat Dallas McCarver.

Who do you think will win the Arnold Classic 2017: Cedric McMillan or Dallas McCarver?
