A Complete breakdown of the Arnold Classic 2021 prejudging.

The Arnold Classic 2021 prejudging has been completed and this gave a clear picture on who will be leading the way going into the finals on Saturday night. Led by the Men’s Open division – which has seen many names pullout in recent weeks. Despite this, that does not mean that it wasn’t an exciting event. Reigning champion William Bonac had to withdraw recently because of travel issues while Cedric McMillan and Roelly Winklaar are dealing with different injuries that forced them to pull their names out.

Leading the pack entering the event were the likes of newcomers Iain Valliere and Nick Walker. Valliere has two wins this year alone and thrives on stage in competition. Walker has been an up-and-coming competitor ready to take that next step. Both were featured in the first callout, joined by Steve Kuclo and Justin Rodriguez. Walker and Kuclo spent time at centerstage with Valliere on the right side.

A third callout brought back the likes of Valliere and Akim Williams along with Rodriguez and Oliva. This left Walker and Kuclo on the sideline, which means they are the frontrunners to finish at the top. Valliere and Rodriguez spent time at centerstage. Williams worked his way into the third callout after being left out of the first set of competitors. It’s a safe assumption to assume the third callout were contenders for places third through sixth.

The only event that featured four callouts, Men’s Open saw Kuclo and Walker brought back onto the stage. This is Kuclo’s fourth appearance at the Arnold Classic while Walker is making his debut. This competition usually favors athletes with experience but Walker has to be leading the way heading into the finals Saturday night.

Nick Walker was the clear frontrunner to win tonight – but Steve Kuclo brought a package that is going to really make Walker work for the victory. The final callout was a top two face off of extreme intensity. The judges left both competitors on stage for an extended period of time. This is likely to give the judges more time to compare – as the two athletes were extremely neck and neck. This kind of extended callout also helps push the athletes through further paces to see if one or the other fades.

This division might very well come down to the wire during the finals. Make sure to keep a close eye on comparisons and the rest of the results leading into the night option of the event. Stay tuned to Generation Iron Fitness Network as we continue to provide coverage.

Arnold Classic 2021 Classic Physique Callout Report

There were five competitors making their debut at the Arnold Classic. This does not include Logan Franklin, who has competed twice at the event in the Men’s Physique division. There were six competitors featured in the first callout highlighted by Ruffin and Cambronero. Ruffin was quickly moved to the center next to the reigning champion. Bryan Jones and Courage Opara made an appearance in the first callout with Franklin and Fabian Mayr rounding out the field.

There was not much movement during this callout. Cambronero and Ruffin spent a majority of the time at centerstage. This hints that Cambronero and Ruffin, the top two from last year, are at the top so far. While it will not be decided this morning, the Classic Physique division is one that will take some time to decide come the night portion of the event.

Both Cambronero and Ruffin were featured in the final callout, which featured four competitors. They were joined by Franklin and Opara. Once again, Cambronero and Ruffin were featured a centerstage but Franklin was hard to ignore on the edge. He brought great see in regards to mass and to height.

If prejudging is any indication, the Bikini final is going to be as close as can be. Jennifer Dorie, Ashley Kaltwasser, and Lauralie Chapados joined Pecini in the first callout and were moved around frequently. Kaltwasser and Pecini began in the middle before Dorie was moved to get a better look.

There was a final callout that featured three competitors — Dorie, Pecini, and Chapados. They all got a chance to be featured on centerstage. It began with Pecini followed by Chapados and Dorie.
