ARNOLD CLASSIC EUROPE PREVIEW

Generation Iron Arnold Classic Europe

Just off the heels of Mr. Olympia – the excitement continues this weekend.

There are plenty of ways to keep yourself busy with all that left over energy after the Olympia weekend. But one way that we haven’t talked about is right around the corner. In just two days the Arnold Classic Europe will be upon us! The pros may have already competed for the big Olympia prize but that doesn’t mean they can relax yet. Many of the superstars we saw on stage will return in Spain for one more mega competition.

The biggest star of all, Phil Heath, has already stated that he will not be competing in the Arnold Classic this weekend after his Mr. Olympia win – leaving the #1 spot open for all the other major competitors. Will Kai Greene have a chance to grab the top spot? We’re not quite sure if he will actually be competing. Last we heard, Kai claimed he would not be at the Arnold Classic Europe because he believed he would win Mr. Olympia and then bow out of competitions for the rest of the year.

Well Kai didn’t win – so does this mean he’ll stop by Spain for one more chance at a first place victory? Only time will tell.

Until then, here’s the official list of provisional athletes that should be competing at the ACE. Without Kai or Phil it’s a whole new ballgame for the ultimate first place win.

With Shawn Rhoden placing third at Mr. Olympia – he is the easy choice to take the first place spot at the Arnold Classic. But the clear and easy choice isn’t always the reality. Will Dennis Wolf get revenge or his fourth placing at Olympia? Or will Big Ramy rise up and claim another first place spot like he did at the New York Pro? We’ll find out this weekend.

Make sure to stop by after the weekend for a full report on the results from this year’s Arnold Classic. You can also follow us on our official Twitter and Facebook pages for full updates on all things bodybuilding.
