Strong as Ever at 73, Arnold Schwarzenegger Does Strict Curls With Some Serious Weight

Arnold Schwarzenegger is proving age is nothing but a number with strict curl routine.

Time and again we’ve seen feats performed by the very young and older individuals that defy reason. Feats of strength in particular usually garner a great deal of intrigue due to the nature of strength development.

What does that mean exactly? Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger has proven that building strength in itself is a skill and impressed many with his recent strict curl. It takes time and consistency to develop strength. So while a 17 year old lifter can impress with some heavy lifts, they’re unlikely to be as strong as a more experienced strength athlete.

On the other end of the spectrum are older lifters. They’ve been doing it so long that they’ve built up a natural strength and aptitude for lifting. But because of muscle loss due to aging it’s rare to see older lifters perform at a level comparable to their younger counter parts.

But some older lifters can still put up some serious numbers. Recently all-time great Arnold Schwarzenegger proved that very notion.

With so many lifters trying out the strict curl challenge, Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to join in on the fun. Despite being 73 years old, Schwarzenegger still appears to have plenty of strength at his disposal.

What do you make of Arnold Schwarzenegger maintaining his strength at an advanced age?
