Arnold Schwarzenegger is here to share fitness tips and tricks for those who might be looking to better themselves in many ways. This can range from diet plans to workouts to just everyday life. Recently, he shared a study that discusses how to build an “unbreakable diet.”

During a recent edition of Arnold’s Pump ClubSchwarzenegger broke down what it takes to follow a diet plan and not give up.

“When you think about building an unbreakable diet, you usually make dramatic changes, like avoiding all restaurants and take-out foods or removing foods completely, such as carbs, sugar, and desserts. But this doesn’t work the way you want.”

Instead, Schwarzenegger referenced a study published in Appetite that says this is the opposite of what you should be doing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared that he underwent another heart surgery.

According to the recent journal, those who cut out their favorite foods all together actually end up eating more.

“Researchers looked at what happens when you tell people to go cold turkey on their favorite foods and found that people ate 133 percent more calories than those given no restrictions or guidelines whatsoever.”

Instead of doing this, Arnold believes that people should build a diet plan that they will not break. Consistency is the key to better health.

“Everyone wants to say that “it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle,” but rarely does anyone ask what you want your life to look like.

And for most people, a good life means prioritizing and protecting your health without stressing everything you eat.

It won’t look like all the other diets, and that’s usually what you need to make the plan work for you.”

There is work that can be done both in and out of the gym to improve health. Arnold Schwarzenegger has shared plenty of tips over the years and continues to help others build diets.
