In the world of professional bodybuilding, it’s not common to see too many “extra accessories” on the human body such as epic long beards or head-to-toe covering tattoos. This is largely because a pro bodybuilder wants their physique to be as clearly seen as possible – so that all of the hard work put in goes noticed and is scored correctly.

That’s why it’s sometimes a relief to break away from the traditional pro bodybuilding scene and look at other people who have dedicated their life to bodybuilding outside of it as a competitive sport. We’ve done this before in our original series focusing on Jens “The Beast” Dalsgaard. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle first and a sport second – which is why we often take the time to appreciate epic physiques where the credit is due even if they won’t win Mr. Olympia any time soon.
