Raechelle Chase grew a huge following and became extremely popular in the fitness world.

Fitness influencer and Figure pro bodybuilder Raechelle Chase has died suddenly, according to reports on Friday morning. Chase passed away earlier this month.

Anna Chase, who is the oldest of Chase’s five children, confirmed the news in a statement shared by News.com.au.

“She was supportive, kind-hearted and always had the best advice for us. She was a wildly driven woman with ambition and has inspired millions of people around the world. I miss her immensely and that love won’t ever fade.”

Chase’s cause of death is still unknown but an investigation is underway by the New Zealand police. Many friends and fans of Chase were devastated by the news of her passing. Friend Keith O’Connell described Chase as one of the “kindest beautiful souls.”

“Not going to lie, very few things in my life hit me as hard as your passing. You had so much left to live. So much love to give.”

The Career of Raechelle Chase

Raechelle Chase was born in New Zealand in 1979. She became heavily involved with competitive sports throughout her childhood. Raechelle started out doing gymnastics, while also participating in netball and surfing. Aside from just participating in sports, she also went down the path of fashion modeling, taking part in her first fashion show at the age of 5.

By the time she reached the age of 16, Raechelle began to work in a gym selling memberships part-time to earn a few dollars. It was not long after she started selling gym memberships that Raechelle’s interest in weightlifting was sparked, as she would see some great physiques in the gym and was inspired to really get into it.

Raechelle Chase grew a large following on social media due to her incredible physique. This includes 1.4 million followers on her Facebook page. Chase had a passion for fitness and used it to find success in many avenues.

Chase was an IFBB pro in the Figure division. her accolades include finishing third in both the Melbourne Pro and NZ Pro, both in Figure. In 2011, she made history by becoming the first Kiwi woman to compete in the Olympia. She finished 16th in the competition.

Raechelle Chase began competing in 2007, and it did not take her long to earn professional status. By 2009, Raechelle was competing as a pro.

However, Raechelle did not give up the fitness lifestyle once she retired from the bodybuilding stage, she continued to train hard in the gym. Following her stint in bodybuilding, Chase became a fitness model and appeared on the cover of many magazines. Her final Facebook post was from a photo shoot when she appeared on the cover of Oxygen Magazine.
