BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner Review

by GI Team Updated by GI Team on Oct 29, 2020

This post may contain affiliate links (disclosure policy).

When it comes to getting lean, you sometimes need a little boost to help you lose those last few lbs of fat.

This is where a fat burner comes in, as it can help you go to the next level on your fat loss journey alongside regular exercise, a healthy, well-balanced diet, and a consistent calorie deficit.

Just one fat burner to choose from is B4 from BPI Sports. But how does it stack up against the competition? What ingredients does it use?

Continue reading as we answer each of these questions and more in our complete review of BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner.

What Will BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner Do?

BPI Sports market B4 as a supplement that will help you reach your fat loss goals more efficiently.

The blend of ingredients aims to provide you with various benefits such as improved mood and focus. Plus, it can also provide you with a boost of energy when you need it the most thanks to the inclusion of caffeine.

Read on as we take an in-depth look at the ingredients list.

BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner Ingredients

When you’re looking to buy a supplement, it’s essential to do your research before you bite the bullet.

Luckily, we’ve done the hard work for you in our full BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner review. Read on for a complete overview of this particular supplement’s ingredients.

Before we get to that, here’s the supplement facts label for your reference:

Niacin

Otherwise known as Vitamin B3, Niacin is a crucial ingredient to have within your diet. The reason for this is that a niacin deficiency can cause unpleasant side effects such as fatigue, skin problems, depression, headaches, and diarrhea [2].

Niacin is the only ingredient in BPI Sports B4 that has its dosage listed (30mg). All the others form part of the proprietary blend entitled ‘Pre-Workout & Fat Burning Super Blend’, with its ingredients covered below.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine often features in fat burner supplements, which comes as no surprise considering it’s the world’s most widely-used stimulant.

Research provides evidence that caffeine can improve your focus, increase your power output, and provide you with an energy boost [1].

However, as BPI uses a proprietary blend in B4, it’s not clear precisely how much caffeine is in the supplement. All we know is that one serving has the same amount of caffeine as three regular cups of coffee, which is a rather significant amount.

Red Wine Extract

Red wine extract is an ingredient that can support healthy metabolism and potentially mimic various effects of calorie restriction. However, most current studies involved mice, so more human trials are needed to provide evidence of these benefits.

Red wine extract is not a common ingredient in fat burner supplements, so it may have been better to use a more proven ingredient in its place such as green tea extract.

Sword Bean

This particular ingredient is an extract which comes from the seed of the Canavalia gladiata plant and has been used in China as medicine and grain legumes for many years.

Sword bean is said to be a good source of antioxidant phenolics [3]. However, further research is required to confirm its potential health benefits.

Dendrobium

Another plant extract, dendrobium comes from the stem of the Dendrobium Nobile plant. As it is also within the products’ proprietary blend, its exact dosage isn’t known.

Yohimbe / Yohimbine

Used in many supplements for its fat-burning properties, Yohimbine is an ingredient that increases adrenaline and inhibits a regulatory process in fat cells [4].

However, many countries around the world do not approve Yohimbine for use in dietary supplements. So, if you’re not able to buy BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner in your location, this could be the reason why.

As well as this, it’s also been shown to cause anxiety and can adversely react to certain pharmaceuticals. So, it’s worth reading up more on Yohimbine if this is something you think may affect you.

How to Take BPI Sports B4

It would help if you took B4 approximately 20-30 minutes before your workout for best results. But one thing worth noting is that you should consider sticking to a smaller serving size.

That way, you can test your tolerance to the ingredients and can avoid unwanted side effects such as jitters and energy crashes which occur as a result of excess caffeine intake.

Buy BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner

You can buy BPI Sports B4 from Amazon.com. At the time of writing, this will set you back $23.99 plus shipping for the 30-count option.

Alternatively, you can opt for the larger 60-count option, with prices starting from $35.99 plus the cost of shipping.

But as with many other supplements on the market, prices are subject to change. So, it’s always worth checking out all the latest prices at the point of purchase.

BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner Review Conclusion

That concludes our full review of BPI Sports B4 Fat Burner. By this point, you’ll be able to make an informed decision over whether this supplement is right for you.

Overall, it’s clear that the supplement has beneficial ingredients that will help you get better results on your fat loss journey.

However, the use of a proprietary blend means you don’t know the exact dosages of the ingredients. So, if complete transparency is vital to you, you may need to look elsewhere and check some other fat burner reviews.
