Chen Kang could have a bright future in the Classic Physique division.
While the 2018 Olympia fast approaches, every has their eyes locked on the competitors who are looking to prove they are the best of the best. The Classic Physique division has only been in existence for a few years now, yet it has impressed the masses and proves to be perhaps the most competitive division in the IFBB today. Breon Ansley has a firm stranglehold on the division and Chris Bumstead appears to be hot on the champion’s heels.
That said, there’s no harm in looking to the future of the division as other talented athletes throw their names into the equation. While Breon Ansley and Chris Bumstead are still young and hungry, their are other talented athletes looking to prove that they have the best Classic Physique in the world.
Enter Chen Kang.
Nicknamed “Branch” after the great Branch Warren, Chen Kang has showcased a pretty insane physique in his young IFBB career. The Branch nickname stems from his massive quads that have put everyone on notice.
While he hasn’t yet reached the top of the division, from his crazy proportions and chiseled frame, you can put your money on seeing Branch Chen Kang at the top of the division at some point in time. In fact, it’s not a stretch to suggest that by 2019, Chen Kang could find himself in the top 10 of the division.
