Brandon Curry Vows to Build Up Legs After Coming Up Short to Big Ramy at Olympia

Brandon Curry vows to never again lose to Big Ramy again due to legs.

After coming in second at the 2020 Olympia, Brandon Curry isn’t satisfied. In fact he hopes to never again be in that position again, at least not do to any glaring weaknesses. Brandon Curry has vowed to build up his legs, his weak point, in order to recapture the Mr. Olympia title from Big Ramy.

Many doubted his legitimacy as Olympia champion when he won in 2019. But his showing at the 2020 Olympia, outperforming Phil Heath, showed the world just how incredible Curry is. Brandon Curry worked hard over many years to get this level. He was never handed anything, never given an easy path. Brandon Curry pushed himself through rigorous training and resilience to become the champion that he is today.

While he may not have taken first at the 2020 Olympia, he did showcase why he is one of the best bodybuilders in the world. In hopes of dethroning Big Ramy, Brandon Curry is working his legs and working them hard.

Below is Brandon Curry’s current leg day workout.

Brandon Curry’s Leg Workout (* stand for pulse movements/1.5 reps)

  • Standing Leg Curls: 2 sets, 10 reps (each leg)
  • Seated Leg Curls: 1 set, 14 reps
  • Lying Leg Curls: 2 sets, 7-9 reps
  • Vertical Leg Press: 2 sets, 12 reps*
  • Belt Squats: 4 sets, 7-9 reps*
  • Single Leg Squat: 3 sets, 13-16 reps (each leg)
  • Single Leg Seated Leg Curls: 1 set, 15 reps
  • Seated Leg Curls: 1 set, 12 reps
