An interesting mix of pros.

It’s been officially announced – we now have the full invite list for the upcoming Arnold Classic 2016 – and by the looks of it we have the potential for quite the interesting line up. It’s already been announced that Kai Greene would compete at the Arnold Classic this coming year – shaking things up and bringing a level of star power rarely seen with the exception of often returning competitors Branch Warren and Dexter Jackson. But now we can see who will be going up against the constant Mr. Olympia runner up.

This leads up to mixed feelings really. Since we know Kai Greene will be competing it almost takes away any glory these younger competitors have at getting a #1 spot. We don’t want to call the competition before it even begins – but it’s hard to imagine the arguably second best bodybuilder out there today placing any lower than first at this competition (How amazing would it have been to see Dexter Jackson go up against Kai at the Arnolds?).

But that doesn’t change the fact that the Arnold Classic is one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions of the year. Mixing that with the 6 year return of Kai Greene, we should be in store for quite the exciting Arnold Classic. So without any further delay – here are the official invite lists for the Arnold Classic 2016.

You’ll probably notices that Ben Pakulski isn’t mentioned on this list – though he just recently announced he will be competing at this year’s Arnold Classic. Looks like we’ll have to keep an eye out for any further updates.

The Arnold Classic 212, Fitness International, Figure International and Physique International will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016; while the Arnold Classic, Arnold Classic Men’s Physique and Bikini International will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 with prejudging and finals at Battelle Grand.
