Breon Ansley: “There Should Never Be A Mr. Olympia That Lacks Anywhere”

Breon Ansley and Bradley Martyn talk Chris Bumstead and Olympia prep.

When it comes to being the best of the best it requires hard work and dedication to your craft. It also requires killer instinct. You can’t hope to be a champion in any sport and simply be happy to be there. If championship aspirations dominate your thoughts then you have to willing to best your opposition at all costs.

Two-time Classic Physique Olympia champion Breon Ansley understands this concept well.

Rather than just accept his defeat and recede into the background, Breon Ansley is motivated to recapture his Olympia champion status. In preparation for the 2020 Olympia, Ansley is pulling out all the stops and going all out in his training.

In preparation for the show it’s hard not to think of the competition. Chris Bumstead unseated Breon Ansley as champion, much to the surprise of many fans. But Ansley has been fairly quiet about the new champion since his narrow defeat.

That is until now.

During a conversation with Bradley Martyn at his gym Zoo Culture, Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead came up in conversation. While Ansley isn’t one to talk smack, he did throw some shade at the 2019 champion. After Martyn insinuates that Bumstead is lacking in certain areas, Breon Ansley had this to say:

“I’m going to go here,” said Ansley. “There should never be a Mr. Olympia that lacks anywhere. You should never call (someone) a Mr. Olympia that lacks in body parts anywhere. Every Mr. Olympia should have a complete, balanced physique, and not lack body parts.”

Are you in agreement with Breon Ansley? Is Chris Bumstead lacking in parts of his physique? Be sure to watch the full video here for more.
