After Breon Ansley Hints at a Move to 212, Chris Bumstead Says “Don’t Go Running Away”

Chris Bumstead tells Breon Ansley not to run away from him and the Classic Physique division.

It seems that things are heating up in the Classic Physique division. The two competitors at the top of the heap, 2019 champion Chris Bumstead and two-time champ Breon Ansley, are far an away the best athletes in the division. With the 2020 Olympia fast approaching the rivalry between the two champions is heating up.

Breon Ansley has already called out Chris Bumstead ahead of the Olympia. The former champion is more than fired up to take on the challenge of unseating his chief rival. Yet on Instagram Ansley was seen hinting at a possible switch in divisions.

In the post below Ansley poses the question of remaining Classic or switching to 212 or Open.

While this could have simply been a joke on Breon Ansley’s part, Chris Bumstead responded in earnest. The reigning Classic Physique champion tells his rival not to “run away” from the division just yet.

Of course Breon Ansley didn’t remain quiet, firing back at his rival.

Could a switch to 212 be in Breon Ansley’s future? It would make sense if he’s unable to secure a victory at the Olympia in the Classic Physique division. But until then it’s all merely speculation. Only time will tell what Breon Ansley decides to do in the future.
