The Strongman legend shared the eight events that will take place at this year’s event.
Strongman legend Brian Shaw has been sharing different details about this year’s Strongest Man on Earth competition over the course of the year. In January, we learned about the criteria to qualify for the event and this led to a list of competitors being put in place. Now, we know the eight events that will make up the show.
On Tuesday, Shaw took to YouTube to speak on the eight events that will make up the 2025 Strongest Man on Earth.
“The goal is for these events to be well though out and to be a true test of overall strength to find out who truly is the strongest man on earth.”
The competition is scheduled to take place from Aug. 16-17 in Loveland, Colorado. Shaw wants this to be one of the most difficult shows of the year and to know who is right, he will focus on the year prior.
2025 Strongest Man on Earth Events
This year’s competition will feature eight events:
- Max Log Press
- Standing Chest Press
- Side-Handle Deadlift
- Frame Carry Into Seated Arm-Over-Arm MEdley
- Super Yoke
- Manhood Stones
- Max Weight Keg Toss
- Tire Flip Power Stairs Medley
There will be just two events that carry over from last year’s event — Manhood Stones and Keg Toss. There will be a new deadlift event in the Side-Handle Deadlift where competitors will lift using a neutral grip due to a custom frame that will be used.
“Super excited, a lot of thought has gone into these events. Some of them are still in the build process and being done. Hopefully you guys are excited as well.”
Shaw did not share weights for all events but did mention that the heaviest implement in Manhood Stones will be 600 pounds. Like the deadlift, the Super Yoke will also feature a custom unit as athletes will carry heavy safes. The exact order of the events has also not been shared just yet.
