Channing Tatum dropped extra weight that he gained for a movie role.

Channing Tatum is one of many actors that has become known for his physique on the big screen. He has been featured in many different films where he had to remain slim and in the best shape possible. In this post, we detail how after going the other direction and putting on weight for a role, Tatum has burned off 30 pounds and is back to being shredded at 205 pounds.

Tatum has been featured in many sports movies, such as Coach Carter, from a young age. He became known for showing off his body in the Magic Mike franchise while also being apart of other action movies. Tatum has shown his versatility over the years in comedy as well in 21 Jump Street.

Tatum is no stranger to tailoring his physique to the role he is playing. While he is typically dropping down, his role in Josephine required him to put on bodyweight. This film will be released at a later date and fans can see Tatum play the role of the father with some extra weight on him.

Channing Tatum Shares New Physique Update

Last week, Channing Tatum shared a slideshow of photos on social media taking followers through his weight-loss journey. The first picture was recent, where he dropped 30 pounds down to 205. The second was for his role at 235. The final picture was for a separate film where he had to get down to 172 pounds.

“We back up! lol. 1st photo is today 205. 2nd photo 235 for a movie called Josephine. Then went to 3rd photo which is 172 for a movie Roofman.”

Tatum has had plenty of help in order to get back down to his current weight. When an actor is constantly going up and down, it is important to have the right staff and follow the right plans. Tatum credited his chef and nutritionist for the work they did to help during the journey.

“I’m so grateful for my genetics. Grateful for my chef/nutritionist/witch. Grateful for my trainer. I couldn’t make these big swings in my weight without you guys. But i won’t be doing anymore fat roles haha. It’s to hard on the body and to hard to take off now. But damn when i look at these pics it’s just wild what the human body and will can do.”

Channing Tatum continues to be one of the biggest heart throbs in Hollywood and has been since he began taking the big screen. He will be featured in different roles at different bodyweights but now, he is back to being shredded at 205 pounds.
