CHILDHOOD DREAMS COME TRUE: POWER RANGER DEADLIFTS 675 LBS

Generation Iron Power Ranger deadlift

Go go power deadlift!

Ask any athlete out there and they’ll tell you that their training revolves around the three big lifts: the bench press, the squat, and the deadlift. These three are strength and conditioning staples that have helped turned the most average athlete into an elite competitor, no matter what sport they compete in. The bench press can be used to give an athlete explosive power or build their chest. The squat offers those same power gains as well as building up not only the lower half of the body, but the entire body as well. Deadlifts are also great from building muscle in the lower back and hamstrings, and provide some pretty sick strength gains as well.

These three are the basis on which all powerlifting competitions revolve around and if you can master each lift then you have the potential to be one of the greatest lifters on the scene. But more than just competing in powerlifting meets, these three lifts can easily be translated over to giving a lifter great muscle gain. There’s a reason so many bodybuilders advocate starting with powerlifting as a base as opposed to just trying to sculpt the physical form right out of the gate.

It’s a belief that Omar Isuf seems to advocate greatly. The YouTube fitness staple has made countless videos discussing why he believes powerlifting is the best way to start off your bodybuilding career. It’s pretty clear from the man’s following that he may know just a bit about getting strong and in good shape. His knowledge in lifting is immense as well as his abilities.

Speaking of which, just the other day Omar Isuf pulled off a pretty impressive deadlift that set the internet abuzz. Why? Because the guy did it with style (nerd) points. Check out the video below for the OmarIsuf’s deadlift as the Red Power Ranger no less.
