Chris Bumstead Teases New Contributions To Olympia
Bumstead did not share details about what he has planned during his conversation with Solomon. He did make it clear, however, that there are many new things in the works for the end of the year.
“There’s a lot of things I want to do to make the athlete’s experience better at the Olympia. Making this sport bigger as a whole. Giving back to Classic Physique, the athletes, the fans.”
Chris Bumstead remains one of the most influential athletes in bodybuilding. He created an incredible brand for himself off the stage that set him up for when his competitive days ended. Bumstead has his own business ventures that he is not fully focusing on while also remaining active in the gym.
Bumstead knows the ins and outs of competition from his days on stage. He believes that this knowledge can help the next generation of classic physique competitors.
“Sometimes things get lost in the weeds so having a voice in there to direct is something I’d love to do to help. Now we want to get the brands involved, do something big and crazy. We have a big event planned at the end of the year.”
