Unable to do the Big 3 Lifts, Powerlifiter Dan Green Trains in the Strict Curls

Dan Green looks to dominate the strict curl.

Most people who know Dan Green first came to awareness of the athlete as a proficient powerlifter. Time and again Dan Green impressed at many a powerlifting meet. It appears that lately however Dan Green has been getting away from powerlifting and making a shift.

Now it appears that due to nerve issues, Dan Green has been unable to do the big 3 lifts. Of course those are the bench press, squat, and deadlift. For a powerlifter missing out on the big 3 lifts can completely side track your proficiency in building strength.

But rather than be defeated by this, Dan Green has instead looked to shift his training. Green now focuses a great deal of his training on his biceps, his main exercise being the strict curl.

Recently Dan Green took to Instagram and showcased his training in the strict curl and he’s looking very proficient.

Curls 132 x 10 (60 kg)
Can’t do the big 3 well these days with my nerve issues but I can still hit #GUNZ ??
Did a pyramid up on the EZ bar curls then 3×10 on cable “incline” curls. These feel great for a stretch as an alternative to incline DB curls.
