Bautista has had a passion for fitness since early in his life. He used the gym to get through difficult parts of his life and wanted to one day create a career in fitness. This was thought to come in the form of bodybuilding but he eventually gave up on that goal but remained in sports entertainment. He has remained a fan of bodybuilding and was even named an honorary ambassador for the 2023 Olympia.
Bautista has been particular about his diet and this has been a major reason he has been able to cut, despite the difficulties.
“Now, I’m about 240 pounds. I went just a year and a half ago for ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ I went up to 315 pounds. That’s when the nightmares started. Getting that weight off has been a challenge.”
