Could we be looking at a future Olympia champion?
The NY Pro took place this past weekend featuring some of the best bodybuilders in the world. As predicted by many pundits, Dexter Jackson took first place taking out a field of talented competitors including an extremely on point Roelly Winklaar. Victor Martinez and Maxx Charles also looked pretty impressive at the show. Rounding out the top 5, Steve Kuclo also came back from an extended absence showing an impressive physique of his own. Despite not placing in the top five, newcomer Dominick Cardone showed an impressive physique at his first major pro show.
While no bodybuilder enters a show expecting to lose, the fact that Cardone had an opportunity to compete with some of the best in the world, veterans in the sport, will be great experience for the young man moving forward. With bodybuilding, especially in the beginning of your career, it’s less about all the pro wins you can pile up and more about the amount of experience you can obtain by taking pat in high level competition.

Cardone’s presence along with newcomers like Cody Montgomery shows that a new era in bodybuilding is on the horizon. Men like Dexter Jackson won’t be competing forever. Despite the fact that “The Blade” will have to one day hang it up and make room for the young lions who are hungry to build their own legacy in the sport.
Before stepping on stage for the NY Pro, the 22 year old Cardone took some candid photos of his quad development for the show. To say that he has some serious potential for greatness would be an understatement. Check out the photos of Cardone’s massive wheels and judge for yourself if he has what it takes to challenge the big boys.
How far do you think Dominick Cardone can go?
