Eddie Hall won his first-ever match in just 30 seconds.
It was a successful MMA debut for Strongman Eddie Hall. He took on fellow strongman legend Mariusz Pudzianowski on Saturday night in Gliwice, Poland as part of the KSW 105 event. Hall defeated Pudzianowski by technical knockout just 30 seconds into the bout.
Following the fight, Hall sent an apology to Pudzianowski for strikes to the back of his head.

Once the bell rang, Pudzianowski came out quick against Hall but left himself open while swinging at a high rate. Hall went inside and was able to get his opponent against the cage. From there, Hall was able to take Pudzianowski to the ground and fight from the top.
The referee warned Hall about the punches to the back of the head. He focused on the front of Pudzianowski once again. While there was nothing to do but cover up, the ref crowned Hall the winner.
Eddie Hall Apologizes For Illegal Strikes During Fight
Once the fight began, it was quick, back-and-forth action. It was taken to the ground and Eddie Hall took control. During this time, he pounded Pudzianowski but apologized for some illegal strikes.
“When he was on the floor, I was just hammerfisting. Again, my apolgies. [It was] my first fight. I think I hit him once or twice in the back of the head then I heard the ref shout at me and it clicked. Then I went back to the face. So, again my apologies.”
Eddie Hall acknowledged his inexperience since this was his first fight. This also showed during the start of the fight.
“I thought you have your drink and then the referee says the rules and then you touch gloves. It’s different here in Poland. My apologies. That’s my inexperience. This is my first MMA fight.”
Hall was preparing to take on reigning World’s Strongest Man champion Mitchell Hooper in the ring before the event was cancelled. He began looking for his next opponent and sights were set on Mariusz Pudzianowski, who has experience in the ring. Like Hall, Pudzianowski is a former World’s Strongest Man who has made the transformation into a fighter.
Eddie Hall has taken on many physique transformations as well. In December, Hall challenged himself to the carnivore diet for 90 days. He shared a video on YouTube explaining his process and sharing his weight loss of 19.6 pounds. Hall shared his current weight of 350.5 pounds and body fat of just 19.9%.
